Macau’s unregulated development did not allow for the creation of public and cultural spaces for citizens. Due to the lack of unbuilt areas to be allocated to public places, the project involves the creation of an artificial island in Macau Bay. This space hasbeen thought as a careful mix of cultural, recreational and sports functions, organized around a carefully designed open space that ensures views of the Bay and the city.
